The ADiGi association takes its name from a person who left a living testimony of how life can be lived in the best way despite a thousand difficulties. In fact, Angelina Di Gregorio was born in Secinaro on Friday 17 April 1925 to mother Caterina and father Domenicantonio and a few days after her birth the poor little girl began to show signs of illness. Disease that left indelible marks on her body: in fact she had little strength in her legs and arms and was able to walk with difficulty. Despite these problems she was an exemplary woman: model worker, perfect housewife, wise woman and always attentive to everyone’s needs. She is an indispensable person. She was a fervent believer and, although due to her physical problems she could not go to mass, every morning as soon as she got up and every night before going to sleep she raised her prayers for her to God. But the most peculiar characteristic of this person is that she never gave up in front of anything, she was always smiling and conveyed joy and desire to do. You are a person of extraordinary intelligence and sensitivity. A person who gave everything with nothing.
